1st edition (so stated), simultaneous illustrated paperwraps. Specially inscribed by Harrison to one of his friends in Leelanau: "to Jim / to be read after / midnight with / much drink / Jimmy" in blue ink on the half title page. The colophon states: "This edition consists of 1000 softcover copies, 100 numbered and 26 lettered hardbound copies." This title was later reissued by Center Publications in 1979 with a different cover. The present offering of the true first issue is in fine condition with very minimal wear, and with a great inscription to one of Harrison's personal Michigan friends. Item #7118
