1st edition, limited (1/600) original hand tied printed paperwraps (as issued). A collection of eight essays written in memory of the printer, Joseph Blumenthal, who founded the Spiral Press and who printed many of Robert Frost's publications. The recollections are from Leonard Baskin, John Dreyfus, Antonio Frasconi, David R. Godine, Ronald Gordon, Darrell Hyder, Roderick Stinehour, and Hermann Zapf. The present piece was printed in Blumenthal's Emerson typeface at the press of A. Colish, with illustrations printed by Meriden-Stinehour Press. Handsomely designed by Jerry Kelly.
