New York: Harcourt Brace, (1946).
1st edition, full black cloth, with printed dust jacket. Specially inscribed to an editor at the "New York Post" and signed by Lowell on the FEP in black ink. The author's second (and first trade) book, for which he won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1947. Some offsetting between page 4-5 apparently from a news clipping, else a remarkably fine copy in near bright (not price clipped) dust jacket. Uncommon thus. Item #6585
