1st edition, limited (1/75) numbered and signed by both author and artist, illustrated broadside. The poet Gail Mazur's fine poem, appropriately illustrated by her husband's original lithograph printed by JoAnn Alber on Alber's embossed heavy stock. The broadside measures 12.5 inches high x 15.75 inches wide, printed in two color ink on heavy stock with three sides deckled. The illustrator was a highly praised artist of realism and abstraction. He attended the Horace Mann School in the Bronx, graduated from Amherst College, studied with the printmaker and sculptor Leonard Baskin at Smith College, and earned a master's degree in fine art from Yale. He taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, Brandeis. Item #5993
